Imposer Pro is a desktop application for PDF imposition, developed and distributed by Luca Valloni, an individual based in Italy ("we", "us", "our"). The website imposerpro.com is the official distribution channel.

2. Data we collect
When you visit imposerpro.com
- Anonymous usage analytics (page views, country, device type, browser) via Google Analytics 4, only after you accept the cookie consent banner.
- Standard server logs (IP address, request time, user-agent) retained for security and infrastructure debugging.
When you purchase a license
- Your name, email, billing address, and country are collected by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy.
- We do not store credit card or other payment-instrument data on our servers. Payment data is handled exclusively by Lemon Squeezy.
- We receive from Lemon Squeezy: your email, name, order ID, purchase date, license key, and country (for VAT purposes).
When you use the Imposer Pro desktop application
- The application performs license verification by contacting Lemon Squeezy's licensing API. This transmits your license key and a hardware fingerprint (machine ID).
- The application does not transmit the content of the PDFs you process. All imposition work happens locally on your machine.
When you contact support
- The content of your email and any attachments you choose to send.
3. How we use your data
- To deliver your license, send order confirmations, and provide product updates.
- To respond to support requests.
- To analyze aggregated website traffic and improve the product (only with your consent).
- To comply with legal and tax obligations (Italian law requires retention of invoice data for 10 years).
4. Cookies
Our website uses the following cookies, all gated by your consent (via the banner shown on first visit):
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic analysis.
- Google Ads — measurement of advertising effectiveness (conversion attribution).
If you reject cookies, the corresponding scripts run in Google's consent-denied mode and do not store identifiers on your device. You can change your preference anytime by clearing your browser's site data for imposerpro.com.
5. Third parties we share data with
We share the minimum necessary data with the following processors:
- Google LLC (Analytics, Ads) — Google Privacy Policy
- Lemon Squeezy (payment processing, license delivery, email receipts) — Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy
- Amazon Web Services / Cloudflare — website hosting and content delivery.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal data with any other third party for marketing purposes.
6. International data transfers
Some of our processors (Google, Lemon Squeezy) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are protected under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
7. Retention
- Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default).
- Order data: 10 years (Italian tax law requirement).
- Support emails: up to 2 years from last contact.
- Server logs: 30 days.
8. Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

9. Children's privacy
Imposer Pro is a professional tool aimed at adults working in print and prepress. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email to customers and via a notice on the website.
